2022 Holiday Season

During the 2022 holiday season, we tapped into the transportive promise of discovery+ content and encouraged users to skip the stress of the season by escaping into Holiday Lane where they could be immersed in content.

I encouraged our creative team to lean into the whimsical nature of the holiday season as well as the inherent hands-on nature of much of our content as well. The cut-paper village offered an elegant and versatile framing device that was recognizable in promos, IPMs, digital marketing, and across social media. 

After meeting with marketing leads around the globe, it came to my attention that we could make the campaign feel native to these markets by tailoring the details. For the Nordics, where it’s dark the majority of the day in December, our light blue was traded for a moonlit sky. And given it’s summer in Brazil this time of year, we nixed the snowy village altogether and created more celebration items indicative to their celebrations.
